Hello fellow bloggers...
I have been steadily working on Christmas gifts for family and friends (and some orders) and wanted to see what type of things people are gifting these days. This weekend, I need to crochet some items (10) to donate to my son's school. They have a Holly Fair every year. The gym is set up like Santa's Workshop (including elves) and the students come down to shop for gifts for their family members. Last year I made scarves. Oh yeah...there is usually an age group and gender assigned to each class for donations. This year, we have teen boys/girls so I am wondering...do I just make some fun colored hats? Feedback will be very appreciated.
Happy Hooking...

Hats would be great and you could do some newsboy hats.. they would love those.
My kids' school does a Santa Shop every year, but the get the stuff they sell from a vendor.
I agree with Sheila - hats are a good idea, and how about leg warmers? A lady at my job asked me to crochet her some legwarmers, and now a bunch of ladies there want some for themselves, and their daughters or granddaughters.
P.S. How about fingerless gloves? Those should be popular with both boys and girls.
